Les Arpents verts (Green Acres)

est une série télévisée américaine en 170 épisodes de 25 minutes, créée par Jay Sommers et diffusée entre le 15 septembre 1965 et le 7 septembre 1971 sur le réseau CBS. En France, la série a été diffusée à partir du 31 juillet 1979 sur Antenne 2.

Oliver Douglas, un célèbre avocat new-yorkais, las de sa vie citadine, achète une ferme dans la petite ville de Hooterville et s'y installe avec sa femme... qui n'appréciera jamais la vie campagnarde. Grande dame citadine et très snob, elle tentera cependant : on la verra ainsi bêcher le jardin en robe du soir, et courir après le bétail en talons hauts...
